THE PURE EAT’S STORY

We don’t just cook we thread you to delicacies...

Pure Eats Co. is Doha’s first 100% dedicated gluten- free and dairy free full-service restaurant located in a beautiful area called Qatar’s very own Venice, the Qanat Quartier, on The Pearl. It was the perfect location from the moment we saw it as it transports you from the Middle East right to Europe! Our goal was to create a friendly haven where we could share beautiful food and create a sense of community in a safe eating space that our community missed the most.

We understand how difficult it is to dine out safely when you have sensitivities to foods.  Our sole goal is to prove you do not have to abandon the foods you love when eliminating the ingredients that don’t love you.

The community has told us they dreamed of burgers, salads, pastas, wraps, kibbeh, Arabic lahm bi ajeen, cheesecakes, brownies – dishes that are difficult to find safe gluten-free and dairy free versions of. We strive to create your favorite classic dishes using traditional techniques and a completely free from flare and approach.

It matters.  It hit home to Pure Eats Co.’s owner who saw the struggle with her own daughters’  issues to eating food that contained gluten or any dairy products due to an auto immune disorder.  She set out on a mission to create food that is a cultural explosion of Cajun, Southern with a twist of European that meets the Mediterranean with a bang! It is unlike anything you have had before. 

FRESH INGREDIENTS

All our dishes are cooked from scratch with the freshest ingredients whereby some of our seasonal vegetables are cut, delivered, and cooked the same day. Not many in Doha can say that.  We believe strongly in supporting the local economy while improving healthy nutrition and changing people’s perceptions on the free from world of foods.  Everything we make is done with care, diligence, and of course pure love. We hope that our strict policies help our guests feel comfortable, confident, informed, and relaxed from the moment they enter Pure Eats.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Jill Bordelon-Munir is a brand strategist executive with two decades of experience developing marketing campaigns, brand propositions, logos, websites and ecommerce platforms, helping companies showcase their image to the business world. Jill has held executive positions at Hyatt Hotels Corporation™, Small Luxury Hotels of the World™, Interstate Relocations Services, Wilcox Industry and DNAC International, and she is the Founder of Tandem Communications.

Jill is the writer and publisher of “Come Sit At Our Table”, a cookbook featuring individual recipes from families from all over the world that she met living as an expat in Middle East over the past decade.

Three of Jill’s most personally fulfilling project were working as a journalist for the MENA Games, 2018 and the Special Olympics, 2019, writing and publishing an international travel book at the age of 25 and being an Angel Partner for Army of Masks who supplied over 80,000 face masked complimentary during the height of the pandemic in US, Canada, and Qatar.

She’s produced and directed custom brand campaigns for companies in the US and throughout the Middle East. She is an independent businesswoman with a solid reputation as a visionary, problem-solver and creative tactician in the fields of brand advertising, digital photography, direct sales, and marketing.

Jill is originally from south Louisiana. She is the proud mother of 2 brilliant daughters. One suffers from a autoimmune disorder and can not eat gluten or dairy. The other has a gluten intolerance. Her soul reason for founding Pure Eats in Doha. She saw first hand there was not place that truly could offer 100% gluten and dairy free food. She loves cooking and sharing experiences with all that she meets. Nobody is a stranger to her. She has lived in Qatar for the past 2.5 years with her husband and family and before that lived in the United Arab Emirates for almost a decade.

ABOUT THE CHEF

Chef Zienna knows that cooking is not a job but is her life’s calling. She loves preparing happiness in the form of great dishes that have become a work of art. She brings life to each and every recipes or dish created. She thrives on great results and so often is creating new dishes inspired by special requests or things she dreams about in her head.

Since 2015, her journey in the world of being a professional Chef began. However her love of cooking started as all great loves do … with a passion that started beating in her heart as a child. It seemed all good things related to cooking.

Chef Zienna’s love for cooking led her to study its art. She attended and earned her certifications from the prestigious Swedish Institute (Lernia) and the Kristianstad municipality as a Chef in Sweden.

She is enthusiastic about providing food for people with dietary restrictions, including gluten-free and dairy-free diets after discovering that her only child suffered from a severe milk allergy. She has succeeded in developing innovative and delicious recipes that are most delicious and nutritious for anyone with food sensitivities and restrictions.

Chef Zienna feels that food is the best gift anyone can offer. She is proud to be called “Amazing Chef Zienna.” Come and let her and her team bring happiness to your stomach.

The most important ingredient in all our creations cannot be tasted, but it can be felt intensely. It is the pulsating teamwork of all of us.

We Would Make Them From Scratch.  Our Management Will Deliver Allergy Safe Dishes To Your Table When It Is A Special Request.  All Employees Receive Extensive Allergy Awareness Training To Ensure Guest Safety.
